What kind of Shoes or not shoes, it’s completely up to you. I would advise that you start trying shoes if you plan to do performances in the potential. Would be kind of funny if you got a performance in a sports ground and performed with feet. It is a bit unlike to juggle exposed feet and with shoes.
So the question is what kinds of shoes are most excellent then? The easiest principle I would give is that the shoe should be sort of smooth and at the face (where your toes are) it should not be hard at all, no sole attaching there it must be totally soft. You want to feel the ball! Also if it’s solid and edgy in the front the bounce can be kind of strange from time to time.
After that the next important thing is shoes sole if you move on to additional superior tricks you want to have a sole that allows you to juggle with your soles (soccer boots sucks when it comes to sole tricks). In my opinion I favor turf shoes because one you freestyle on concrete you will wear the sole out, and a turf sole lasts longer. You might find it a bit harder to do sole juggles with turf shoes… but it’s all about put into practice. Also after a couple of weeks of practicing there is almost nothing left of the studs.
Now there are a lot of people which prefer indoor shoes though. They are enormous but as I described above, they doesn’t last for as long and they are as too much expensive as compare to turf shoes. So I would go with turf. Futsal shoes are starting to get very trendy but since a lot of them have a quite thin sole they last even shorter. But they are really awesome, they are very light and you can actually feel the football when you’re juggling. Futsal shoes do the job for me and I really like them. At one point I bought 4 pairs so I knew I had new ones when it was time to change.
